The GT5542LOS is a modular Systematic tripod, with a flat center disk that can be interchanged for center columns, leveling bases and other components designed for specific applications. A ratchet lever lock makes interchanging components fast and easy, while a new secondary safety catch protects center components and attached camera equipment against accidental damage, even if the center component is inadvertently left unlocked. Adding to the set up speed and convenience - vitally important in extreme conditions and remote locations - is the Ocean G-Lock system, which requires only a quarter turn to lock or unblock each leg section.
